The Fishers Island Yacht Club is looking forward to hosting the 2022 Bullseye Nationals the weekend of August 19-21, 2022. We hope to welcome back sailors who joined us last in 2014, and also to greet first-time visitors to our beautiful island.

We sail off West Harbor on the northern side of the island, a part of Fishers Island Sound, and just across from the Connecticut shore. Water conditions are generally smooth, and the current is quite predictable. The racing area is mostly free from interfering motorboats, rocks, and other treacherous obstructions along its shorelines.

Island hosts will offer accommodations to visiting sailors and those accompanying them, and we have three loaner boats available on a first-come first-served basis. From the opening reception and dinner on Friday night to the closing luncheon on Sunday, we will make every effort to ensure our guests enjoy the best of island hospitality.

Bullseye sailing at FIYC dates back to the 1920s and 30s and remains a fixture in our Saturday racing today.  FIYC member and past Bullseye Nationals champion John Burnham wrote a history of our fleet, which includes the names of many of the competitors who will be on the starting line in August.

To learn more about the regatta and to register, please use the links on this page. Do get in touch with us if you have any questions.

See you in August!
